Auto Assign

Auto Assign is based on Officials Availability, Game Duration, and the criteria set on the Auto Assign Criteria page.

“Assign Myself” Games Are NOT assigned.

Officials are assigned to games randomly in the schedule based on their Classification. Their Classification will limit the number of games in each League/Game Type.

There are several parts to setting up the Auto Assign feature.

Official Criteria:

• Shows League/Game Type Association – All the leagues the official can be assigned This is set on the user edit page
• Officials Ranking – Lower meaning better
• Max Number of Games – Max games aloud for the Season

Edit user page – League Association

There is a report available under Reports, Official Game Type. This report shows the official, their address, their League/Game Type Associations, and their Ranking.

Official Criteria:

League Order:

Here you can set what order you want the leagues assigned in. Note, you can always assign one league at a time.

Auto Assign Criteria:

• Game Limit – Max number of games unless the Official criteria has
• Repeat Assignments – How many days between seeing the same teams
• Repeat Teams – Max Number of times can they see the same team
• Max Miles – Only used if Mileage has been calculated to each location
• Assign by Official Game Rating – System will list in Official Ranking and Game Rating and then assign

Run Assigning Function:

• Select Start Date and End Date to assign – We recommend Short date range when a large amount of
• Select League or Leagues you want to assign – If All Leagues are selected it will assign in the Order set on the League Order
• Click Start – System will randomly assign officials based on availability and the criteria you The system may go through all the games and officials and stop the auto assign. You may have to run more than once for the same date range and league selection to exhaust the officials assigned.
